Apple TV+ releases Official Trailer for new series “Five Days at Memorial,” which will go live on August 12.
Based on Sheri Fink’s documentary of the same name, the series tells the story of exhausted caregivers at a New Orleans hospital who are forced to make heartbreaking decisions in the aftermath of the storm.
After Hurricane katrina swept through New Orleans, when New Orleans Memorial Medical Center suffered from flooding, power outages and soaring temperatures, the medical staff was forced to make choices that would haunt them for years to come under these harsh conditions.
The hospital ended up with 40 deceased patients, some of whom were deemed unable to live and were therefore scheduled for euthanasia.
“Five Days at Memorial” premieres August 12 on Apple TV+.
