Anthony Hopkins will star in the new film “Freud’s Last Session” as Sigmund Freud, the famous Austrian psychologist and founder of the psychoanalytic school.
“Freud’s Last Session” focuses on the eve of the end of his life, and he invites famous British author Clive Staples Lewis (“The Chronicles of Narnia”) to debate the existence of God. (Coincidentally, Hopkins played Lewis in the 1993 biopic “Shadowlands.”)
The film will explore Freud’s unique relationship with his lesbian daughter, Anna, and the unconventional love affair between Lewis and his best friend’s mother.
“Freud’s Last Session” is written by Inglis Mark Inglis St. Germain, based on his play of the same name.
