Mexican buddy duo Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna are acting together again, as the two will star and produce the new Spanish-language boxing-themed drama “La Maquina”.
Marco Ramirez (‘Daredevil’) runs it, Gabriel Ripstein (‘600 Millas’) directs it, Searchlight TV produces it, and Hulu airs it.
Bernal plays an aging boxer and Luna plays his cunning manager, setting the fighter up for what promises to be a last chance at the title. But it won’t be easy to hold out until fight night, when they must deal with a mysterious mob force.
