Guillermo del Toro’s stop-motion film version of ‘Pinocchio’ has announced that it is scheduled to go live on Netflix on December 9 of this year.
‘Pinocchio’ is a new version of Guillermo del Toro’s classic fairy tale about an old carpenter and a puppet who “lies and grows a nose”, a wooden boy who longs to have a real soul ……
The film is said to be a “darker, more twisted adaptation” of the original fairy tale, and is a musical.
‘Pinocchio’ is voiced by a deluxe cast of Cate Blanchett, Finn Wolfhard, Ewan McGregor, Tilda Swinton, Ron Perlman, Christoph Waltz, Tim Blake Nelson, David Bradley and more.’
