HBO drama ‘Gentleman Jack’ canceled, third season won’t continue in development

The HBO series ‘Gentleman Jack’ has been cancelled and will not continue to be developed for a third season. HBO released a statement thanking the cast and co-producers BBC and Lookout Point.

The show Season 1 airs in 2019, and Season 2, which was delayed in production by the epidemic, has just finished airing, with poor ratings in the HBO original series.

‘Gentleman Jack’ focuses on Anne Lister, the “first modern British lesbian”, based on her diary, with Suranne Jones as Lister and Sophie Rundle as her lover, Ann Walker.
