Local time July 27, 2022, Los Angeles, California, United States, HBO adventure fantasy prequel series ‘House of the Dragon’ held a premiere event at the Film Academy Museum, director Miguel Sapochnik, Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Emma D’ Arcy and other creators attended.
George Raymond Richard Martin, the original author of the ‘Game of Thrones’ series, was diagnosed with a new crown and therefore did not attend the premiere.
Martin recorded a video announcing the news, saying he recently attended the San Diego International Comic-ConSDCC and then went to Los Angeles for a number of meetings.
Although he was cautious, such as not attending SDCC parties and photo shoots, he still infected the new crown on this trip.
HBO’s CCO also said at the ‘House of the Dragon’ premiere that Martin was infected at SDCC. Now, he describes himself as having no symptoms, or only mild symptoms, and is in isolation at a Los Angeles hotel.
