A new trailer for the drama version of ‘Interview with the Vampire’ has been released. A hundred years later, a vampire narrates to a reporter, “He is my mentor, my lover, my creator. In the silent darkness, he and I are equals.”
The show will be based on the original Anne Rice’s ‘The Vampire Chronicles’ setting, where vampires Lestat and Louis are explicitly lovers, and the operators say the show is more of “a gothic love story” than a horror film.
Journalist Daniel will also do two interviews with Louis over a span of decades to facilitate the presentation of more content from the original series of novels in addition to the ‘Interview with the Vampire’ book.
‘Interview with the Vampire’ will start on AMC on October 2.
