Isabela Merced (“Transformers: The Last Knight” “Dora and the Lost City of Gold”) will star in the new film “Turtles All The Way Down”, which is based on the namesake of John Green, author of “The Fault in Our Stars” and “Paper Towns” Best-selling teen novel, shooting in April.
“Turtles All The Way Down” focuses on Aza, a 16-year-old high school girl with obsessive-compulsive disorder who never set out to investigate the mysterious escape of billionaire Russell Pickett, but her best friend, the fearless Daisy, is Up to $100,000.
So the two teamed up to start a plan, and Aza also developed a relationship with the rich son Davis.
Aza tries to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, all while living in the whirlpool of her own constantly tensing thoughts.
Directed by Hannah Marks (“The Diary of a Teenage Girl” “After Everything”) and written by Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger (“This Is Us” “Love, Simon”), it will be available on HBO Max.
