Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, the thriller “The Guilty” directed by Antoine Fuqua was officially revealed . It will be launched on Netflix on October 1st and will be released in North American theaters on September 24th.
The film is remake from the Danish version of “Den skyldige” and tells the story of a former police officer (now demoted to operator) receiving a call from a kidnapped woman.
When the phone suddenly hung up, the search for the woman was officially launched.
This call is the only clue, the police officer needs to race against time to save her from danger.
However, he gradually realized that the case he was dealing with was much more complicated than he thought.
“The Guilty” will go live on Netflix on October 1, and will be released first in North American theaters on September 24.
