Jake Gyllenhaal will star in the reboot of the action thriller ‘Road House’ , directed by Doug Liman and produced by Amazon, which will be available for streaming.
Gyllenhaal plays a former UFC fighter who works as a bouncer at a cluttered hotel in the Florida Keys, but soon discovers that not everything is what it seems in this tropical paradise.
The cast also includes Billy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Lukas Gage and others, with Anthony Bagarozzi (‘The Nice Guys’) and Charles Mondry writing the screenplay, which opens later this month in the Dominican Republic.
