James Gunn can be said to be one of the busiest people in the comic world.
After the DC anti-hero movie “The Suicide Squad” was released, he invested in the HBO MAX series “Peacemaker”, Marvel movies “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” and “The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special” and other projects.
And he confirmed on Twitter a few days ago that he also invested in another secret project of adapting DC comics.
It all started when a fan asked him, Warner Bros. Pictures will let the DC movie universe develop a new story, or continue the world view and story of “Zack Snyder”.
Although he did not answer this question head-on, Gunn accidentally admitted that in addition to the “Peacemaker” album, he was also developing another DC project, but did not reveal what kind of project it was.
Another fan further asked whether the project was “Deadshot vs. Bloodsport”, but he denied it.
James Gunn also revealed that this will not be shown on the upcoming DC FanDome, because “it is not ready yet.”
Earlier this year, James Gunn had already hinted that he might continue to collaborate with Warner Bros. to launch more DC-related works, such as a story with “Harley Quinn” as the protagonist.
Walter Hamada, the current president of DC Films, also said that he is looking forward to working with James Gunn again in the future, “He will be back, we have a lot of plans.”
He also recently explained why Peacemaker is the only member of Task Force X who can have a rumored story.
