A live-action movie adapted from Shueisha’s popular quiz comic “Usogui” created by Toshio Sako will be released in Japan on February 11, 2022. The official released the latest stills of several films today.
“Usogui” was planned and filmed to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the serialization of the comic “Liar Eater”.

The film is directed by Hideo Nakata, starring Ryûsei Yokohama, Sano Hayato, Mai Shiraishi and others.
The original comic tells the story of Baku Madarame, a genius gambler with super high IQ, who led a young man who owed a huge amount of money to an underground bank into an underground casino, boasting to help him pay off the debt.
In “Usogui”, Baku Madarame will face off against the evil dark organization “Kakerou” that manipulates Japan’s financial world behind the scenes.
