Joel Edgerton will star in Apple’s new series “Dark Matter”, it is based on Blake Crouch’s science fiction thriller of the same name, a total of 9 episodes.
“Dark Matter” focuses on Jason Dessen, a physicist, professor, and family man who is kidnapped into an alternate universe one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago.
His life and role here are completely different, and the surprise quickly turns into a nightmare.
In this puzzling labyrinth of reality, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from the most terrifying and invincible enemy – himself.
Crouch will be the writer, executive producer and executive of “Dark Matter,” with Louis Leterrier (“Now You See Me” “The Transporter”) directing the first four episodes.
