Chad Stahelski, director of the ‘John Wick’ series, had wanted to direct Marvel’s ‘Blade’. In an interview with ComicBook, the filmmaker revealed that he had a conversation with Marvel’s boss Kevin Feige.
“After ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’ was able to take a lot of time off, so we had a nice conversation. He asked me ‘What can we do?’ I said, ‘I’m not going to lie to you, I don’t know if I’m cut out for that kind of studio work, but making ‘Blade’ is really a fun thing I’d like to do.'”
But while Stahelski wants to do his own reboot, the ‘Blade’ reboot is now set to be directed by Bassam Tarig and will be released in Northern America in November 2023.
