According to “Squid Game” director Dong-hyuk Hwang, both Gi-hun (Jung-jae Lee) and Hwang Jun-ho (Byung-hun Lee), the man in black, will return for the second season.
Although Dong-hyuk Hwang has always liked to tease fans who are constantly following the “Squid Game”, he said, “Gi-hun will definitely be back, and I think the man in black will come back with him.”

Dong-hyuk Hwang went on to explain that Gi-hun was going to infiltrate the inside of the game organizer when pressed by fans. Currently, he is still working on the storyline of the second season.
