Justin Bartha reprises his role as computer expert Riley Poole on Disney+’s ‘National Treasure’ TV series

Justin Bartha will make a cameo appearance on Disney+’s “National Treasure”, reprising his role in the film as computer expert Riley Poole.

The series, an expansion of the film series, was created by original film producer Jerry Bruckheimer and screenwriters Cormac Wibberley & Marianne Wibberley, directed by Mira Nair (“Vanity Fair” “Queen of Katwe‎”), and has been preordered for a season of 10 episodes.

Starring Lisette Alexis, Jess Morales, a 20-year-old Latina woman with big dreams, embarks on a lifetime adventure with friends to uncover her mysterious family history and retrieve lost treasures.

“National Treasure” will explore current events such as identity, community, historical authorship and patriotism.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones as Billie, a formidable billionaire, black market antiques expert, and go-it-yourself treasure hunter who grows from a penniless orphan to a shrewd, stylish businessman and adventurer.

What Billie likes must be obtained, and she has a deeper stake in the Pan American treasure, not just for money.

The well-known action-adventure series “National Treasure”, starring Nicolas Cage, focuses on a series of treasure hunts carried out by amateur cryptographer Benjamin and computer master Riley who were born in an adventurous family.

The first two films were directed by Jon Turteltaub and starred Justin Bartha, Diane Kruger, Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel, etc., and received good reputations, with global box office of 347 million and 457 million US dollars respectively.
