The media rating of ‘Lightyear’ is now officially unblocked and IGN has given the film a 7 out of 10 rating.

IGN believes that, as a film produced by Pixar, the overall performance of ‘Lightyear’ is poor but not good enough, and there is room for improvement in the plot.
Overall Comments.
‘Lightyear’ has stunning visuals, great animation and loud displays of love for same-sex relationships that we would love to see on screen. However, all of these deserve a more exciting script. It’s a fun viewing that will entertain kids and adults alike, but doesn’t live up to Pixar’s usual standards.
