The film, Netflix’s first large-scale NC 17 original, is based on Joyce Carol Oates’ novel of the same name and boldly reconstructs the complex life of film superstar Marilyn Monroe, blurring the lines between truth and fiction and exploring the tensions between Monroe’s public and private life.
Directed by Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford”Killing Them Softly’), starring Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Caspar Phillipson, Toby Huss, Lily Fisher, Xavier Samuel, David Warshofsky, and more.
‘Blonde’ will be available on Netflix on September 28th and has also been selected for the main competition at this year’s Venice International Film Festival.
