Marisa Abela, the young actress who starred in ‘Industry’, has joined the cast of the live-action version of ‘Barbie’.
Currently, Marisa Abela’s specific role is unknown, following news that ‘Barbie’ will hopefully be made into a feminist film about Barbie discovering that she is not as perfect as people thought she was, accepting her imperfect self and diving deeper into real life, realizing that being her unique self is all that matters.
As for the cast, Ryan Gosling will play Ken, Barbie’s boyfriend, and Emma Mackey, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, and Alexandra Shipp will star. As for the director, Greta Gerwig will direct the film.
According to the plan, the film is expected to be released in 2023.
