Matt Reeves, director of “The Batman” and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”, has signed an ‘overall first look deal’ with Warner Bros.
This means that Warner will fully invest in Reeves and his “Sixth Iowa” company, and any work created by Reeves must be sold to Warner first.
Warner said it hopes to develop Reeves into a cornerstone Warner filmmaker like Clint Eastwood.
In addition, Reeves revealed that he is working on the script of ‘The Batman 2’ with Mattson Tomlin, and Robert Pattinson will return to star in it.
