This tells the origin story of the “villain” Gru, the previous one and “Despicable Me 3” directors Kyle Balda and Brad Ableson directed, Steve Carell continues to voice Gru, Julie Andrews, Russell Brand also return.

“Minions: The Rise of Gru” opens in North America on July 1.
