Although the Spider-Man spin-off movie “Mobius” is only 17% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, it still received 39.1 million opening box office in North America last weekend, winning the championship.
“The Batman” came in third with $10.8 million and topped $700 million at the global box office.
“Mobius”, which has been changed for N times, earned $39 million at the opening box office in North America, and $44.9 million outside North America. The film currently has a total of $84 million worldwide.
The film invested 75 million US dollars. Although such a box office start is not a big hit, it is expected that the media can barely make a profit if you include the streaming media copyright income.
Comparing the opening performances of Spider-Man’s previous spin-offs, $80.3 million for “Venom” and $90 million for “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”, “Mobius” performed well.
