Recently, the film ‘Cocaine Bear’ released a clip of nearly two and a half minutes. In the clip, two paramedics rescued a wounded police officer. Then, they are attacked by a drugged bear. On the way to escape, a lot of ludicrous scenes occurred.
From the clip, this will be a film that mixes elements of comedy, action, and even horror. Combined with the disco music of the 1980s, it seems to have a sense of age. It should be said that the film’s director, Elizabeth Banks, very smoothly grafted up a variety of genre elements.
The film is based on a true story: In 1985 in Kentucky, USA, a bear ate the contents of a duffel bag containing more than 70 pounds of cocaine thrown off a plane by local drug dealer Andrew Thornton, who was later found dead of an overdose.
The film follows an eccentric group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens as they gather in the Georgia woods, where a 500-pound apex predator ingests a staggering amount of cocaine and is spurred on to more blows and bloody atrocities.
In the production’s statement, the film is described as a “character-driven, documentary-style telling of recent American history.
The cast features Keri Russell, Ray Liotta, Alden Ehrenreich, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, among others.
