The drama version of ‘National Treasure: Edge of History’ released a new trailer, announcing that it will open on December 14, with new protagonists and new adventures.
The show is an expansion of the film series, created by original film producer Jerry Bruckheimer and writers Cormac Wibberley & Marianne Wibberley, with Mira Nair (‘Vanity Fair’ ‘Queen of Katwe’) directed by Mira Nair, Season 110 episodes.
Starring Lisette Alexis, the series follows Jess Morales, a 20-year-old Latina with big dreams, as she and her friends embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to uncover her mysterious family history and recover a lost treasure.
‘National Treasure: Edge of History’ will explore current events such as identity, community, historical copyright and patriotism.”
Catherine Zeta-Jones stars as Billie, a powerful billionaire, black market antiques expert, and maverick treasure hunter who grows from a penniless orphan to a savvy, stylish businessman and adventurer.
Billie must get what she sees, and she sees the Pan-American treasure not only for the money, but also for the deeper stakes.
Justin Bartha will make a cameo appearance, continuing his role as Riley, the computer expert in the film.
