The classic science fiction novel “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” by writer Jules Gabriel Verne will be filmed into a new live-action series.
The series is named “Nautilus” (the name of the submarine in the story). Disney+ has placed an order for 10 episodes.

The novel “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” mainly tells the story of the naturalist and biologist Pierre Aronnax, his servant Conseil, and the harpooner Ned Land traveling the seabed with the Nautilus submarine captain Nemo.
