Netflix announced a new Japanese language film “In Love and Deep Water” with suspense and romantic comedy themes.
Yoshizawa Ryo and Aoi Miyazaki star in the film, written by Yûji Sakamoto (‘Tokyo Love Story’) and directed by Yusuke Taki (‘Miss Sherlock’).
Sakamoto described the film as “a romantic comedy on a scale never seen before” in the Japanese film industry, saying that it had always been his dream to make such a film and now it has come true.
Rinko Kikuchi, Yô Yoshida, and Nagayama Kento also star in the story of Suguru, a loyal cruise ship butler who meets Chizuru, a mysterious woman on a huge luxury liner MSC Bellissima bound for the Aegean, as the two try to solve a shocking murder mystery that occurred early in the voyage.
