Netflix has released the official trailer for the “Resident Evil” episode, which shows a futuristic, anti-utopian setting.
It’s unclear how much of the show’s history is about Umbrella Corporation, which has been plagued by scandals, as mentioned in the trailer.
From the trailer, it appears that a new zombie frenzy has begun again, stemming from Umbrella Corporation’s accidental mixing of a drug with the T-virus.

It’s not certain if they did it “unintentionally”, but given Umbrella Corporation’s reputation in the BioShock series, it’s hard to say.
The trailer doesn’t show much of the typical monster of the series, only a licker. Of course, in the full play, I believe we can see more of the series’ traditional monsters on the scene.
“Resident Evil” IP latest news is quite a lot. Just last week during Sony PlayStation State of Play, the official announcement of “Resident Evil 4 Remake” March 2023 launch.
“Resident Evil Village” will be launched on PSVR2, just like the previous 7 landed on PSVR1.
