IGN general comment:
“Cowboy Bebop” is an unapologetic anime adaptation of a live-action drama, trying to bring fans some love for revisiting the original.
Unfortunately, attempts to add some original flavor combinations failed and almost threatened the entire episode.
Fortunately, the main trio in “Cowboy Bebop” and dedication to the spirit of the original make this work still very worth watching.
