Sofía Vergara (“Modern Family”) starring in the Netflix limited series “Griselda” first exposed stills, she played the famous Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco.
Griselda Blanco, nicknamed “Black Widow”, “Godmother of Cocaine”, “Drug Queen” and “Godmother”, is another famous drug lord Pablo Escobar’s mentor.
Griselda Blanco built a drug gang and is worth $2 billion. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison by a U.S. court in 1985 for drug smuggling, and she was shot and murdered in Colombia in 2012.
She is a devoted mother, charming but cruel.
The series is run by Ingrid Escajeda (“Empire”, “Justified”) and written by members of the creative team of “Narcos” and Vergara himself as executive producers.
