Jamie Foxx’s new Netflix movie “Day Shift” released a behind-the-scenes look at Geeked Week, where stunt instructors train the cast on how to hunt vampires.
“Day Shift” stars Dave Franco, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci (“Dark”), Steve Howey (“Shameless”), C.S. Lee (“Fresh Off The Boat”), and Dexter. Dexter”) also stars, and assistant director/stunt director J.J. Perry (“John Wick” “Fast & Furious” series) makes his directorial debut
The film follows a hard-working, blue-collar father (Foxx) who just wants to provide a good life for his smart, intelligent daughter, while his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is actually a way to hide his true identity.
As a member of the International League of Vampire Hunters, his real source of income is hunting vampires.
“Day Shift” will be released on August 12.
