Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington star in the new Netflix film “The School for Good and Evil,” which released a poster for Geeked Week and will soon be available online.
“The School for Good and Evil” is directed by Paul Feig (“Spy”) and written by David Magee (“Life of Pi”) and Laura Solon (“Office Christmas Party”).
Based on Soman Chainani’s novel of the same name, the film follows Sophie and Agatha, a pair of best friends who discover where fairy tale characters go to school: the School for Good and Evil.
There, ordinary young boys and girls are trained to become fairy tale protagonists and villains.
Sophie has always wanted to be a princess and knows she will be chosen by the “good” school to become an alumna of Cinderella, Snow White and other former students. Agatha, who has an eerie aesthetic and a naughty cat, seems to be a good fit for the “evil” school.

And then they found a reversal of fortune: Sophie was absorbed into the evil school and Agatha into the good school.
But what if this mistake is just the first clue to discovering their true inner selves?
In this thrilling, comedic story, their friendship is put to the test. The only way to get out of the fairy tale is to experience it from start to finish.
Theron plays Lady Lesso, Washington plays Professor Dovey, and the film stars Sofia Wylie and Sophia Anne Caruso.
