Kelvin Harrison Jr., Samara Weaving and Lucy Boynton star in the new film ‘Chevalier’, which has released stills and will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Chevalier’, directed by Stephen Williams (‘Watchmen’ ‘Westworld’) and also starring Alex Fitzalan, Minnie Driver and Jim High, focuses on the extraordinary life of Chevalier de Saint-Georges.
Written by Stefani Robinson (‘Fargo’ ‘Atlanta’), the film features Saint-Georges, the illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner, who rose to incredible heights in 18th century French society as a world-renowned fencer and famous violin composer, only to fall in love after an ill-fated affair and a relationship with Marie Antoinette (queen of Louis XVI of France) and her court collapsed suddenly after an unhappy love affair .
