“Nyad”: Jodie Foster’s new film plan revealed, she will star in swimmer biopic

Jodie Foster, who has not released a new work for a long time, has plans for a new work to be revealed. It is reported that she will participate in a biopic of the swimmer called “Nyad”.

However, Foster will not be in the lead role, and will be played by Annette Bening in the lead role of Diana Nyad, who will play her coach and old friend Bonnie Stoll.

“Nyad” will be filmed under the Netflix umbrella, with Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi co-directing with Jimmy Chin, and Ann Biderman and Julia Cox writing the script.

The film is based on the best-selling autobiography “Find A Way” by Diana Nyad, who in the 1970s was regarded as the world’s greatest long-distance swimmer, breaking several world records.

In 2013, Nyad, 64, fulfilled a lifelong dream without a shark cage with the help of his best friend and 35 enthusiastic supporters.

She became the first person to do so by crossing waters from Cuba to Florida.

Dangerous sharks, venomous jellyfish, and unpredictable ocean currents in this dangerous sea, Nyad almost lost her life. After five challenges, she finally succeeded.

At present, “Nyad” has no specific shooting and screening arrangements.
