IGN rated the Disney+ TV series ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ out of 8. The show was launched on the Disney+ platform today, with two episodes simulcast on the first day.

The two premiere episodes of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” are an emotional, surprising, blockbuster introduction to the “Star Wars” story.

The premiere episode of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is a surprisingly emotional chapter in the saga of “Star Wars.” It’s layered, hefty, and a well-planned route for the satisfying journey of the “Last Jedi Knight (probably)”. While he doesn’t quite reach the heights of “The Mandalorian” in action, it’s off to a good start in telling a story that balances the galaxy. Strong enough for an opening episode, its performance gives me hope for the show — which has the potential to be the brightest star on Disney+.
