Disney will create a new musical comedy film ‘Penelope’, based on the classic fairy tale ‘The Princess and the Pea’.
Robert Sudduth (‘Desperate Housewives’ ‘The Crazy Ones’) wrote the script and Will Gluck (‘Peter Rabbit’ ‘Easy A’) served as producer.
The film’s plot is confidential and will be loosely based on the original, a unique adaptation, with development still in the early stages and a theatrical release planned.
