New stills from the film adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel “Persuasion” starring Dakota Johnson, Cosmo Jarvis and Henry Golding will be released on Netflix on July 15.
Tony Award-nominated theater director Carrie Cracknell is directing his first feature-length feature film, starring Suki Waterhouse, Richard E. Grant, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and more, with Ronald Bass and Alice Victoria Winslow writing the screenplay.
“Persuasion” tells the story of Anne Elliot, a trendy, unconventional woman living with her snobbish, bankrupt family.
When the dashing, dashing Frederick Wentworth that Anne Elliot had dismissed reappears, she must make a choice: leave her past behind, or have a second chance to listen to her heart.
