Clip released for the new Apple film ‘Raymond and Ray’ starring Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke, which is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, have a small Northern America release on October 14 and go live on October 21 Apple TV+.
‘Raymond and Ray’ follows two half-brothers, Raymond (Ewan McGregor) and Ray (Ethan Hawke), who live in the shadow of their terrible father and somehow still have a sense of humor, and whose funeral is their chance to reinvent themselves. There’s anger, there’s pain, there’s stupidity, there’s maybe love, and there’s certainly burial.
The film was written and directed by Rodrigo García (‘Albert Nobbs’ ‘in treatment’), with Alfonso Cuarón (‘Gravity’ ‘Roma’), Bonnie Curtis (‘Saving Private Ryan’ Minority Report’), Julie Lynn (‘Nine Lives’ ‘Passengers’) as producers.
