Netflix’s star-studded action movie “Red Notice” has become the most played movie in the history of Netflix.
The movie premiered at the streaming giant on November 12.
In a few weeks, this 118-minute movie has been played for 328 million hours and has become the most watched movie on Netflix.
“Red Notice” producer and actor Dwayne Johnson shared the news on his Twitter on Tuesday.
He also posted the news on his Instagram account the following Wednesday morning.
Director Rawson Marshall Thurber also confirmed the news. He revealed that “Red Notice” has been ranked in the Top 10 list of all 94 Netflix regions since it was released.
So far, the ratings of “Red Notice” have been the fastest growing since the launch of Netflix movies.
Netflix generally counts the first 28 days of the series’ debut as the “initial release period”, and “Red Notice” successfully topped the list 18 days after its release.

According to figures revealed by director Rawson Marshall Thurber, the movie has reached 121 million Netflix subscribers.
The record for the most watched movie on Netflix, previously held by Sandra Bullock’s “Bird Box”.
In the first month of its launch in 2018, the film had a total viewing time of 282 million hours.
And “Red Notice” surpassed it only one week after its release, and broke the record before the end of the “initial release period”.
It’s not surprising that “Red Notice” rushed to the top of Netflix like a rocket.
“Red Notice” refers to the highest level notice issued by Interpol to arrest criminals.
When it was first announced, “Red Notice” was promoted as Netflix’s first original action movie, with a star-studded cast.
These include Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.
Although fans are looking forward to a purely dynamic adventure, “Red Notice” focuses more on the comedy development between the FBI agent played by Dwayne Johnson and the art thieves played by Ryan Reynolds.
Their characters are forced to work together to capture the most wanted criminal played by Gal Gadot.
“Red Notice” is currently playing on Netflix.
