The comedy “The Chair” starring Emmy Award winner and Korean-American actress Sandra Oh will be officially announced in Chinese characters and will be launched on Netflix on August 20.

The protagonist of “The Chair” is Dr. Ji-Yoon (played by Sandra Oh). She has just become the head of the English Department of the prestigious Pembroke University and is trying to adapt to her new position.
As the first female director in the history of the English Department, and one of the few people of color among the staff, she is bound to cope with various challenges that ordinary people will not face.
“The Chair” will go live on Netflix on August 20.
