Sarah Hyland, Jameela Jamil (“The Good Place”), and Lera Abova (“Anna”) join the “Pitch Perfect” series, which is produced by Peacock.
The film series, starring Adam DeVine and Flula Borg, returns, and the series is set years after the film’s timeline.
“Pitch Perfect” tells the story of Bumper Allen (Adam DeVine) who, after a hit in Berlin, moves to Germany to restart his music career, with Piëter Krämer (Flula Borg) as his manager.
Sarah Hyland plays Heidi, the pair’s lively and eccentric assistant with dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter.
Lera Abova plays Piëter’s sister, Berlin’s famous DJ Das Boot and music producer.
Jameela Jamil plays Gisela, a flamboyant, up-and-coming German pop star who is also Piëter’s ex-girlfriend and Bumper’s main rival at the Reunification Day concert.
“Pitch Perfect” is written and run by Megan Amram (“The Good Place” “Parks and Recreation”), and executive produced by film creators Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman.
