Apple TV+ original drama series, Isaac Asimov’s science fiction masterpiece adaptation of the American drama “Foundation” revealed the second trailer, and announced that it will be launched on September 24 this year.
“Foundation” starred Jared Harris and Lee Pace, the screenwriter David S. Goyer of “The Dark Knight” was the producer, and Sky Dance Company David Ellison was the executive producer.
The “Base Trilogy” is composed of 9 short stories and short stories, assembled into 3 single-volumes, namely: “Foundation”, “Foundation and Empire” and “Second Foundation”, which were published in 1942.
This series describes the galactic empire that has ruled the galaxy for 12,000 years, and it has gradually declined.
At this time, only Hari Seldon (Jared Harris), a master of psychological history and the father of the base, foresees that the future people of the galaxy will experience a 30,000-year dark period full of ignorance, barbarism, and war.
Hari Seldon then managed to gather the best scientists in the empire to build a “base” on a desolate planet on the edge of the galaxy, hoping that it could become a beacon of hope for future generations of mankind.
In the episode, Li Peisi plays the role of Brother Day, the emperor of the galaxy, to maintain the original empire.
