The suspenseful crime movie “The Pale Blue Eye” directed by Scott Cooper and starring Christian Bale and Harry Melling has recently announced that many actors will join.
Including Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Toby Jones, Fred Hechinger, Robert Duvall, etc.
“The Pale Blue Eye” is adapted from Louis Bayar’s 2006 novel The Pale Blue Eye of the same name-a Gothic thriller.
Cooper has wanted to make this novel for more than ten years.
“The Pale Blue Eye” is about a series of murders that occurred at the West Point Military Academy in the United States in 1830.
The protagonist of the case was Edgar Allan Poe (Harry Melling) who was later known throughout the world.
Following the movies “Hostiles” and “Out of the Furnace”, this is the third collaboration between Bale and Cooper. Bale will play the role of the detective responsible for investigating the murder.
There is no word yet on what role the new actors of “The Pale Blue Eye” will play.
“The Pale Blue Eye” will be exclusively launched on Netflix.
