Director Shane Black and actor Robert Downey Jr., who have successfully collaborated with “Iron Man 3”, have a new work planned. It is reported that they will once again collaborate on a film called “Parker”.
For movie fans, it is worth looking forward to seeing the reunion of the “Iron Man 3” team on the screen.
The film will be adapted from the novel of the same name by Donald E. Westlake.
Parker is a legendary thief who lived his life with a motto of never hurting anyone’s life.
However, things didn’t work out, and each of his thefts ended up in jail. But under the control of Parker’s superb ability, he was able to get out of it every time.
In fact, in Hollywood “Parker” is an excellent IP that has been brought to the screen many times.
Like foreign names, Jim Brown, Robert Duvall, Peter Coyote, Mel Gibson have all played this role on the screen.
“Parker” was last on screen in 2013’s Jason Statham’s version. The director at the time was Taylor Hackford.
After “Iron Man 3”, Shane Black continued to shoot “The Nice Guys”, “The Predator” and more.
In addition to this “Parker”, Shane Black also has plans for two films, “Doc Savage” and “The Destroyer”.
At present, “Parker” has no specific shooting plan and release schedule. Amazon has bought the rights to the movie, so it will be a streaming movie.
