Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) recently criticized Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as a “damn throwback” on the WTF Podcast.
The filmmakers asked a Latina actress to play Snow White, but they were still telling the story of the Seven Dwarfs living in a “cave”.

Peter Dinklage said on the show, “You’ve improved in a certain way, but you’re still making that damn retrograde story.” This is discrimination and stereotypes against people with dwarfism.
In response, Disney responded to Peter Dinklage’s criticism, saying that it would adapt the “Seven Dwarfs” characters, and has consulted the dwarfism community on this.

A Disney spokesperson said, “In order to avoid reinforcing the stereotypes from the original animation, we will recreate the characters of the seven dwarfs in the live-action film and have also consulted with members of the dwarfism community. We look forward to waiting for the film. We can share more news with the public when we enter the production stage after the development period of the project is over.”
According to the casting list exposed by the media, Disney will use the word “magical creature” to replace the dwarfs, and they are currently looking for excellent voice actors to give these characters more personality.
It is unclear whether these magical creatures will continue the setting of the dwarves.
