“Spider-Man: No Way Home” grossed $1.69 billion worldwide as of last weekend (721 million in North America and 970 million outside North America).
That moved the film to sixth place on the global box office charts for a single film in history, surpassing “Jurassic World” (1.67 billion) and 2019’s “The Lion King” (1.66 billion).
It will be more difficult for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” to rise at the box office after that.

The top five in the world’s box office are all over 2 billion US dollars, and “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, which has not yet been released in mainland China, is still difficult to get 2 billion box office.
At present, the largest ticket holders for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” are North America, the United Kingdom ($116 million), Mexico (73.4 million), South Korea (60.6 million), and France (59.9 million).
