“Spider-Man: No Way Home” will compete for Oscar nominations for best picture

The 94th Oscar will announce the nominations on February 8, and awards on March 27. Recently, foreign media revealed that “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, which has exceeded $1.37 billion in the global box office, will compete for the best picture nomination.

At the end of last year, the producers of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal and starring Tom Holland were accepted by the “Hollywood Reporter” and said that they would promote the film to participate in the Oscar competition for best picture.

There is only one film based on a superhero comic book in Oscar history that has been nominated for the best picture-2018’s “Black Panther”, Christopher Nolan’s “Batman: The Dark Knight” has not been nominated.
