Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos confirmed that his hit drama “Squid Game” will have a second season, and said: “The ‘Squid’ universe has just begun.”

There is a big market for such content, and the world has always been curious, The Korean drama market has had a lot of global success, but we made it easy to spread and pushed it into the mainstream.”
According to Variety, Sarandos made the following remarks when asked about the show’s future during Netflix’s Q4 2021 earnings interview.
“Certainly,” Sarandos said, “the world of squid games is just beginning.”
