The “Star Wars” movie series has been continuously releasing new works, and there has been news that the spin-off “Obi-Wan Kenobi” will be launched before. But the show has experienced an indefinite stoppage before.
In the face of this matter, Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy said in an interview that the original script of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” was abandoned because the plot was too “miserable”.
She explained: “We’re ultimately going to create a story that’s hopeful and uplifting. Obi-Wan has been in a very bleak situation since ‘Revenge of the Sith’, and it’s tricky. But you can’t just ask anyone. A screenwriter waved his wand and asked them to make the story you wanted.”

As a result, Kennedy decided to stop production and rewrite the script, although Obi-Wan would still be in a rather tragic situation at the beginning of the story.
Because he has experienced a series of desperate plights such as the slaughter of the samurai group and the expulsion of the survivors.
It is reported that “Obi-Wan Kenobi” will be broadcast on May 25.
