Stephanie Beatriz joins the action-comedy series “Twisted Metal,” starring Anthony Mackie.
“Twisted Metal” is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and Mackie plays Anonymous, a milkman with no memory of the past, articulate and fast.
At one point he got a chance to live a better life—delivering a mysterious package into the wasteland of a post-apocalyptic world.

Along the way, he develops a hostile relationship with Quiet (Beatriz), a fierce and bellicose car thief, and the two face various threats along the way: a savage predator and a deranged clown who drives an ice cream truck.
Produced by Sony Television and PlayStation Production, “Twisted Metal” was picked up by streaming platform Peacock and pre-ordered for an entire season.
The plot is inspired by “Deadpool” and “Zombieland” writing duo Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick, with Michael Jonathan Smith (“Cobra Kai”) as writer and executive producer, Mackie also executive producing, and Kitao Sakurai (“Bad Trip” “Aardvark”) directing number set.
