According to IGN, citing official Netflix and ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ sources, ‘Stranger Things Season 4’ is the first English-language series on the Netflix platform to exceed one billion hours of viewing time.
The latest season of ‘Stranger Things’ has garnered 1.15 billion hours of viewership within 28 days of its premiere. With this figure, the show also became the first English-language series on Netflix to reach 1 billion hours of viewing.
Netflix’s 28-day metric may be a bit sketchy compared to the ratings metric, but it does show how popular the ‘Stranger Things’ series has become, so much so that viewers flocked to the show as soon as it started.
Stranger Things Season 4′ has now wrapped up perfectly and the fifth season of the show will be the final season.
